Yin Yoga and Mantra Meditation
Santosha began a yoga session focused on yin practice, which involves longer holds and deeper work than restorative yoga. Santosha introduced the use of a mala bead necklace to aid in mantra meditation, explaining how to hold and move the beads while reciting a specific mantra. They discussed the spiritual significance of the mala and the practice of mantra, with Santosha offering to teach a grief-related mantra. The session included instructions for a forward fold and continued with the practice of mantra while moving through yoga poses.
